CHANDIGARH, Feb 7 The annual run-for-fun organised at Chandimandir Cantonment today evoked an enthusiastic response, with hundreds of officers, JCO and other ranks along with their families putting on their running shoes. The event was held in seven groups.Men below 40 years had to run 8 km, while those between the age of 40-50 years had to cover a distance of 7 km. For men above 50 years, ladies and children above 12 years the distance was 3 km, while for children below 12 years and ladies running while carrying toddlers had to run 100 meters. The run was flagged-off by the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Command, Lt Gen H.B.
