MUMBAI, FEB 25: Don Bosco (Matunga) entered the mini boys semi-finals of the MSSA-Colgate Inter-schools basketball tournament today after St Mary’s ISC A were disqualified. St Mary’s entered a player who was not registered in the A team, in the pre-quarterfinals.

Good Counsel also entered the semis beating St Xavier’s (Fort) after two walk-overs in their previous matches. The school played its first basketball match in five years.

Mini boys (under-13) quarter-finals: Good Counsel A 11 (Melvin Louis 5, Alfred Hardev 3, Gajanan Eashwar 2) bt St Xavier’s (Fort) 4 (Neil Fernandes 2, Brian D’Costa 2).

Mini Girls: Mary Immaculate (Borivli) B 24 (Sujatha B Kunder 4, Flora Anthony 4, Crystal D’Silva 4, Neha R Patwari 4) bt Girton High School 10 (Azmin Mistry 4, Dhara Bhatia 4).
