Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh is peeved at the way Congress leaders continue to suspect him, even though he left no stone unturned to keep the UPA Government alive. Last week he divulged that Ahmed Patel, political secretary to Congress president Sonia Gandhi, asked him during a telephonic talk: 8220;Record to nahin kar rahe ho You are not recording, are you?.8221; Although Congress leaders maintained that Patel might have said it in jest, they admit that they are usually very 8220;cautious8221; about what they speak during phone conversations with the SP leader. They point out that even the National Security Advisor chose to brief Singh on the Indo-US nuclear deal at a 8220;neutral venue8221;. 8220;The problem is you never know when Amar Singh decides to spill the beans,8221; explained a senior Congress leader.
