KOTTAYAM, NOV 11: Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar GNDU, and LNIPE Gwalior entered the semi-final league of the All-India Inter-University women8217;s football tournament defeating Madras and Goa Universities respectively in the quarter-finals here today.
The Amritsar outfit humbled Madras 10-1 after leading 5-1 at the breather. Harbeet Kaur, Harjinder Kaur 3 each, Kulvinder Kaur 2 and Balvinder Kaur, Kulsaran Kaur 1 each scored for the winners. LNIPE outwitted last year8217;s runners-up Goa by a solitary first-half goal scored through Swati.
