Global sales growth of chips slowed in May, but the industry is still in positive territory as demand for cell phones and PCs remains healthy.

Revenues rose 4.1 pc to $18.05 bn compared with May 2004 revenues but slipped 0.5 pc against April figures, the World Semiconductors Trade Statistics group said on Monday.Reuters
