Give us body, say Zarqawi family

Slain terror leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi has been buried in an undisclosed location, the US military and Iraqi government officials sai ond Sunday. The Jordanian-born militant’s brother said his family would continue to demand that the body be transferred to his homeland for burial.

Iraqi National Security Adviser Mouwafak al-Rubaie said that Zarqawi had been buried in a ‘‘secret location’’ in Baghdad. The US military confirmed the burial but declined to give more details.

Zarqawi’s family had called for his body to be returned to Jordan for burial, but the government in Amman had refused.
