A girl student of Apeejay School filed a police complaint against her four classmates of class XII (non-medical stream) for beating her up on the school premises in the presence of the school authorities. SHO of police division 4 Nirmal Singh said Heena, in her complaint to the police, said today when she went to the school, a group of four to five girls attacked her, while the school authorities remained a mute spectator. “When the principal did not heed to her complaint, I took her to the Civil Hospital for medical examination," said Heena's mother Dr Nisha, adding that 15 days ago, same girls had fought with her daughter at a party. "Following the incident, I didn't send Heena to school for about 15 days, as she was under stress. And today when she went to the school, they thrashed her and kicked her in the stomach," alleged the mother. The SHO said a DDR has been registered and the parents of all the students would be called for a patch up. Principal of the school Ranjna Sood said as she was not aware of the police complaint, she would not like to comment on it.
