She8217;s always been a head turner and while Meyhar Bhasin continues to walk the ramp selectively though, not many are aware that the lissome lady also runs an academy of modelling and grooming. Now, the seven-year-old Meyhar Bhasin Academy in Delhi is spreading wings. 8220;I8217;ve always wanted to come to Punjab and what better time than now,8221; the model has tied up with Panchkula-based Vermanis to house her institute in Sector 2. 8220;It8217;s an attempt to provide a unique platform to people of all ages and walks of life to not only understand their potential but also learn social skills that will ensure success in both their professional as well as personal lives,8221; spoke the immaculately dressed Meyhar at the formal announcement of her institute.
Having learnt herself through the 8220;hard way8221;, Meyhar says she decided to step on new turf as there weren8217;t any professional personality grooming or modelling institutes this side of the country. 8220;There is so much talent here but it8217;s not in the loop like Delhi or Mumbai. Our aim is to offer that connection,8221; Meyhar will dish out Personality Development Courses for people of all age groups here. 8220;Courses for children as young as five years that8217;s designed to teach them social etiquettes and formal dining apart from personal grooming,8221; she adds. Also being dished out are grooming sessions for adults, modelling workshops and special sessions for would-be brides and corporate. Having previously trained Miss India pageant contestants to corporate managers, Meyhar is looking at just about anyone looking for a personality change. 8220;Our modelling workshops are ideal for wannabe models looking to make a career.8221; And the courses are priced at Rs 14,900.
