German girl molestation: C’garh cops identify youth

By Monday evening, the police seized one of the cars used by the molesters and identified two of the men out of which one has been arrested.

According to the police, the incident took place at 2.15 am. The German national, who was allegedly in an inebriated state, was approached by a group of youngsters, who forcibly took her in their vehicle. She was illegally confined, molested and beaten up.

The girl had come to Chandigarh on September 23 to attend her friend’s marriage. According to the hotel’s security guards, there were around five youngsters who had come in a Mahindra Scorpio to the hotel.
