NEW DELHI, DEC 5: Sixth seed Tithiana Garbin of Italy topped her dream run with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Amanda Hopmans in the title round of the Flash Sports $ 75,000 ITF Women’s Challenger at the DTA facility today.

The Italian took 77 minutes to breeze past the seventh seeded Dutch to collect the winners cheque of $ 13,750 and 62 WTA points. Amanda ended up with $ 6,750 and 42 points.

But Hopmans made up for the singles loss, pocketing the doubles title. Hopmans and her Czech partner Lenka Cenkova got a walkover from top seeds Karen Kschwendt and Tina Krizan. Karen withdrew due to illness.
