MUMBAI, JULY 8: Ganesh Carrom Club over the loss of their first singles before defeating BEST `A’ in the Team Championships quarter-finals of the Kshatriya Union Club Carrom Tournament at the Vanmali Hall, Dadar today. The other teams in the semi-finals are BMC `A’, Bank of India and Boricha Sports Club. The tournament is sponsored by Philips, Colgate, Indian Oil, LIC, UBI and Saraswat Co-op Bank.

Two men belonging to the Rohit Godara-Goldy Brar Gang were killed in an encounter in Ghaziabad, suspected to be involved in the firing outside Disha Patani's residence. The duo, identified as Ravindra and Arun, were wanted in multiple cases and were spotted by the police through CCTV footage. UP CM Yogi Adityanath had directed for a speedy investigation and strict action against the perpetrators.
