LONDON, NOVEMBER 8: Galatasaray, Sturm Graz and Olympique Lyon all qualified for the second phase of the Champions League on Tuesday but there was another major disappointment for Rangers who failed yet again despite leading twice against Monaco. With the first four Groups now completed, 12 teams are definitely through to the last 16. The main drama of the night unfolded in Group D in which all four teams Sturm Graz, Galatasaray, Rangers and Monaco had a chance of qualifying for the second phase of the Champions League.Sturm Graz began the tournament as the Group's outsiders but their home form kept them in contention and they travelled to Turkey on Tuesday knowing that a draw would be enough to take them through.Galatasaray, who finished the match with 10 men after Emrebelozoglu was sent off 11 minutes from time, took the lead with a 30th minute penalty by Ergun Penbe. Sergei Yuran came on at half-time for the Austrians and equalised in the 63rd only for Brazilian striker Mario Jardel put the Turks back in front after 75 minutes. But after a scramble in the Galatasaray's Hakan Unsal deflected a Yuran effort into his own net in the 80th minute to level. With the news coming through from Glasgow that Monaco had equalised, the two teams in Istanbul played the ball comfortably around between themselves safe in the knowledge that the 2-2 scoreline sent them both through.
