Many children and entire families were among at least 133 French tourists killed in a plane crash off the Egyptian coast while heading home after a New Year holiday, a French airport official said on Saturday.Some 35 relatives of those aboard the Egyptian airliner that crashed into the Red Sea gathered at Paris’ main airport to grieve and speak with counsellors. The head of medical services at Charles de Gaulle Airport said many children were on board the plane.Michel Clerel, in charge of counselling for relatives of victims, said those aboard included a family of seven. ‘‘The relatives were waiting for family members to come back, then it was announced that they had died.’’ Asked if children were aboard he said: ‘‘Yes, many. They were spending their holidays with their families’’.Some 35 relatives of 20 families were crowded into a crisis centre in the hotel. ‘‘I am very worried. My daughter is due to arrive from Egypt today, where she is holidaying with her fiance,’’ said Therese Dupont, her voice trembling. ‘‘I came here after I saw the news, but I couldn’t find her name on the list of victims.
