HYDERABAD, APRIL 10: Four Naxals belonging to two different groups were killed in separate encounters with police in Karimnagar and Adilabad districts of Andhra Pradesh on Saturday.

According to police, three naxals of Jana Rakshana Samithi, a breakway group of Janasakthi group of ultras, were killed in an exchange of fire near Kothagattu village in Karimnagar district.

The ultras were identified as M Ramabau, T Ravinder and K Omkar, police said, adding a 12 bore tapancha and two hand grenades were recovered from the spot.

In Adilabad district, a central organiser of Singareni Karmika Samakhya (Sikasa), a frontal organisation of banned People’s War Group (PWG), was killed in an encounter with a police party, which was on combing operations at Strike Colony in Naspur.
