South Delhi-based Vashishta Wahan — which was pegged as the Indian arm of Volkswagen — has now turned the heat on top VW officials.

In a criminal complaint forwarded to the Joint Commissioner (Crime) of Delhi Police, Vashishta Wahan GM Mannil Govindan has accused Helmuth Schuster — the main negotiator of the VW deal in India — Erik Boesler, Jesko Beck and other senior VW officials and Schuster’s Indian aide Ashok Jain of defrauding the company of 7,71,900 Euros.

Vashishta Wahan has alleged that the accused ‘‘in criminal conspiracy with each other’’ have ‘‘fraudently and dishonestly’’ complelled them to part with Rs 40,910,700 on ‘‘false representation’’ that it was meant for promoting VW India project.
