Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Ajit Jogi today said the CBI can have no case against him in its probe into an alleged forgery case. The CBI probe was launched to verify the authenticity of a document based on which Jogi had alleged that the Centre’s investigative agencies had launched ‘Operation Black Sea’ to fabricate cases against Congress leaders.

On whether the matter has been referred to Interpol, Jogi said: ‘‘The case has to be investigated within the parameters of the issue, which is that of forgery. In that sense, the Interpol would have no role to play in it.’’ Asked if a chargesheet can be filed against him, he said: ‘‘How can anyone forge a document to implicate oneself?’’
