Even as the Union Health Ministry fights a legal battle to implement a ban on smoking in public places from October 2, actor Priyanka Chopra is giving sleepless nights to officials. Mandarins of the ministry would like Priyanka to announce their ambitious plan. They say she is the best suited to announce it because of what her father went through due to smoking; he was diagnosed with cancer. Insiders say she is the favourite actress of the top brass in the ministry. The officials approaching the actress are, however, in a quandary, as she is shooting abroad and might not be able to make it.
