The Supreme Court today asked the Patna High Court to furnish all details regarding the appointment of Additional District Judge Munni Lal Paswan as the new judge to try fodder scam cases against RJD chief Laloo Prasad Yadav. Though his name did not figure in the list of 14 judges elevated as ADJs recently, a three-member bench asked the High Court Registrar to produce Paswan’s annual confidential report from February 7, 2002, the date on which he became an ADJ.Hearing a PIL filed by opposition leaders seeking a stay on the transfer of Special Judge Yogendra Prasad, who was hearing the fodder scam cases earlier, the bench also sought the annual confidential reports of the 14 new ADJs as well as details regarding their promotion. The bench also asked the HC registrar to furnish the remarks of the District Judges under whom the ADJs functioned.
