AHMEDNAGAR, Nov 1: The forest officials here have arrested five persons under the charge of poaching an antelope in a farm near Sakat village Jamkhed taluka. Seven accused are still absconding.

The forest officials, acting on a tip off from some unidentified persons, raided the farm and caught the five persons along with the killed antelope. The accused, Ramesh Kale, Ashok Pawar, Dattatraya Kale, Pramod Kale and Lata Kale, who were produced in the court have been remanded to police custody till November 3. A case under the Wild Life Protection Act has been registered against them.
