CALCUTTA, FEB 16: Overnight leader Feroz Ali went four over after his first round 67, just the way Vijay Kumar in the first round after his blazing round in the Pro-Am, in the Wills Masters golf tournament. Feroz, now one-under-par after 36 holes, is one shot behind leader Gaurav Ghei.

On a bleak and gloomy day made worse by the number of unhappy golfers hanging around, the Delhi professional provided some spectacular golf with the best score of the day, a four-under par 68. Two over par on Wednesday; he leads the tournament at two under par, 142 after thirty-six holes and felt that “the difference between today and yesterday was his putting.”

Starting with birdies on the first, second and fourth hole, his good form was displayed on the 15th were he almost holed his four iron second shot for an albatross but had to settle for a birdie.

The only other golfers to shoot under par scores for the day were Vijay Kumar and Vishal Singh who both shot 71.
