Itanagar, Oct 29: Defence minister George Fernandes today denied any intrusion or incursion by the Chinese Army into Indian territory in arunachal Pradesh.

”There is no evidence of any intrusion into our territory by theChinese Army,” mr Fernandes told newspersons at raj bhawan here.

The Defence minister met state Chief minister mukut mithi andgovernor arvind dave and discussed various issues, including development of border roads and the reported China intrusion.

Mr Fernandes said he could not find any evidence ofChinese intrusion into Indian territory, but vigilance would be tightened in the border areas of arunachal Pradesh.
