CHENNAI, Nov 6: The Madras High Court has asked S Ajai, zonal manager, Food Corporation of India (FCI) to pay a fine of Rs 3000 for disobeying the court’s earlier order. This is based on a contempt application from M Mohideed Shakul Hameed, a mazdor in the FCI. The court had ealier passed an order to the manager asking him to dispose within two months a representation from Hameed seeking to effect a change in the muster roll with regard to his date of birth. The manager had not obeyed the order.
