TIRUCHI, July 20: A twenty-member extremist group attacked the Andimadam police station near Jayamkondam in Perambalur district and looted five 410 musket rifles, two revolvers and some other ammunications, to the horror of the gaurdians of law themselves. The incident is considered a follow-up to the gang war between rival groups of the Tamil Nadu Liberalisation Army which has hitherto been dormant for some time. But over the past one month some 6 murders in Ariyalur and Jayamkondam areas an indication to the resurrection of the militant outfit.
