JAMMU, OCT 4: The border town of Rajouri in Jammu division was rattled by a series of explosions last night, causing panic among the people, official sources said here today.
The sources said the explosions, which began around 9 p.m. and continued till midnight in the mountain-locked town, did not cause any loss of life or damage to property.
The explosions caused by rockets and mortar fire by militants were mostly directed towards Army installations but exploded in open areas, missing the target.
Soon after these attacks, militants fired from Dandidhar and Kappakhan forests, and the troops retailated, the sources said.
