Barely 24 hours after they were expelled from Parliament, MPs accused in the cash-for-queries scam would not be seen at home. BSP MP Lal Chandra Kol’s doors were firmly locked to outsiders. At BJP MP Annasaheb MK Patil’s house, nobody got past the gate. Staffers at RJD MP Manoj Kumar’s house did not know where saheb was as at BJP MP YG Mahajan’s.

Meanwhile, the expelled BJP MPs on Saturday held a meeting at the New Delhi residence of Patil to discuss the legal options. They said they were not given enough time to reply to the charges against them.
