Former external affairs minister K Natwar Singh is apparently disillusioned with his new friends in the Samajwadi Party. The expelled Congress leader has sent feelers to the Congress high command about his eagerness to return to the party in which he spent almost his entire political life. Singh was apparently inspired by the recantation of long-time party colleague and veteran leader from Kerala K Karunakaran, who successfully persuaded Congress president Sonia Gandhi that he wished to die as a Congressman. But in Singh8217;s case, the Congress leadership does not appear too enthusiastic to forgive and forget.
