CHANDIGARH, Sept 17: The Haryana Government today announced that the entrance tests held on September 13 for admission to Diploma in Education (JBT) and Diploma in Education (Urdu) have been cancelled.The tests have been cancelled because of complaints received about the question papers being leaked.State Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma said that a case had been registered in this regard and the matter was being looked into. Those involved in leaking the papers would be punished. The decision to cancel the examination was taken to uphold the sanctity of such tests, he said.The minister said the tests would now be conducted again in the entire state on October 4. The time, exam centres and roll numbers would remain the same. Those appearing for these tests should reach the examination centre an hour earlier, that is, by 10:30 a.m., so that formalities for identifying candidates could be completed, he said.
