The Nepalese government may reimpose Emergency in the wake of rising Maoist violence in the country, a senior minister in Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s Cabinet said today.

A final decision on the matter will be taken after the Prime Minister returns home tomorrow from his week-long visit to Europe, he said.

There has been no let-up in insurgency-related incidents in the country with the Capital being rocked by a series of blasts since last week.
