CHENNAI, March 31: The State Government has proposed an elementary education movement from the academic year 1999-2000, to step up efforts to enroll all children in primary schoold, and ensure that they continue studies without dropping out mid way. Tabling the policy note of the Education department in the Assembly on March 31, Education Minister K Anbazhagan said a campaign will be conducted in May to create an awareness persuading more students to join schools.
