ISLAMABAD, DEC 7: Pakistani police have arrested eight Iranian immigrants on suspicion of being involved in the killing of four Americans early this month, the official APP news agency reported today.Three Iranian immigrants were initially arrested on a tip-off by an intelligence agency which recorded their ``suspicious conversation'' over telephone with reference to the killings of the Americans, it said. The report added that police were yet to confirm the arrests. On the basis of the information received from the three arrested, police later arrested five more Iranian immigrants, it said.The arrest of the Iranian immigrants in connection with the killing of the Americans has come just a day before the departure of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for Tehran to attend the OIC summit beginning on Tuesday.The four Americans and their Pakistani driver were gunned down in Karachi on November 12, just a few days before the visit of US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright.
