NEW DELHI, JANUARY 15: Eicher Motors Ltd EML has recorded an increase of 277 per cent in net profit for the third quarter ending December 31, 1999, to touch Rs 4.3 crore as against Rs 1.16 crore in the corresponding period the previous year.
Net profit for the nine-month period ended December 31, 1999, stood at Rs 8.88 crore, up from Rs 2.68 crore in the same period the previous year, managing director of EML, Rakesh Kalra, said in a statement here on Saturday.
