CHANDIGARH, Sept 30: The Punjab State Ministerial Services Union held rallies at several points in the City, here today, in protest against the non-implementation of their demands.They also burnt effigies of Punjab ministers near the bridge market in Sector 17. Rallies were held in Sectors 17, and 34. A large number of women employees also participated.They reiterated their pledge to continue with their agitation till their demands were accepted. Meanwhile, All India Trade Union Congress has condemned the Punjab Government for its "repressive measures on the peacefully agitating employees." The employees have been on strike since September 15, severely affecting the functioning in the offices in Chandigarh and Punjab.
