CALCUTTA, FEB 26: East Bengal scored a 3-1 victory over BSF in the Fourth National Football League on Saturday. The local outfit struck twice in quick succession in the dying minutes of the proceedings at the Salt Lake Stadium.Striker Sheik Sanjib put East Bengal in the lead one minute before the interval but BSF restored parity in the 36th minute of the second session through substitute DS Negi, who found the target with a header. In the dramatic last two minutes, Jackson and Dipankar Roy scored.JCT down Dempo MARGAO: Goalkeeper Vikrant Sharma's lapses helped JCT down bottom-placed Dempo 2-0. JCT, who led 1-0 at half time, scored through Jaswinder Singh (44th minute) and later consolidated through Harinder Singh (53rd).With this win, JCT have now moved to third place, displacing Salgaocar, with 30 points from 17 matches. Dempo, who lost their 10th match, are at the bottom of the table with nine points from 16 matches.
