DY Patil Academy scored a nine wicket win over Om Cricket Academy and became the third team to enter the quarterfinals of the Late Namdeorao Rukari memorial Open T-20 Cricket Cup organised by Vishweshwar Sahakari Bank Ltd and played at S P College ground. In a pre-quarterfinal match, Om Cricket Academy, batting first, could muster 110 for the loss of nine wickets in their 20 overs thanks to Ashfaque Sheikh's 45 runs; Anand Singh was the wrecker-in-chief bagging three wickets for 12 runs. Replying to the modest total, DY Patil Academy got to the target in just 11.3 overs losing one wicket. Man of the match Sushant Khare remained unbeaten on 42.
