Drop out ratio decreases to 29.8 per cent in Gujarat

As part of the campaign to reduce the drop-out rate, 16,000 new classes were being started throughout the State and 14,000 teachers were slated to be appointed for this purpose, she said.

The new schools would start imparting computer education with installation of 1,000 computers there, the Minister said. Computers were also being installed in 52 teacher training colleges in the state, she said.
