NEW DELHI, March 31: A row over a dog led to the murder of a CISF constable in Bawana village in north-west Delhi early this morning. Constable Anand was rushed to the Jaipur Golden Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival. Two others sustained bullet injuries. A case of murder has been registered at the Bawana police station.

Anand’s dog was lazing around in front of his house when four men – Umed Singh, his son Baljeet and the latter’s sons, Devinder and Surinder – were passing by. Surinder reportedly kicked Anand’s dog. Anand came out of his house when he heard his dog yelping. The duo had an argument over the matter. Soon, some others joined in the fight, forming two groups. They began pelting stones. Surinder reportedly fired at Anand, who received five bullet injuries. His friend Jai Prakash, and Umed Singh, was also injured. The group continued fighting till the police came.

Jai Prakash is reportedly stable. But, surprisingly, Umed Singh was taken to four hospitals before finally being admitted to a local hospital. The Bawana police has arrested Devinder and his friend Rajesh. Surinder is missing.
