RUSSIA OCT 28: Salvage divers resumed Saturday the operation to recover bodies from the wreck of the Kursk nuclear submarine despite poor weather on the surface of the Barents Sea, Northern Fleet command said. The divers had been idle since Thursday evening when high winds and swelling waters forced them to halt efforts to pull bodies from the submarine that went down on August 12, claiming the lives of all 118 on board. The high winds prevented helicopters from landing on the Norwegian Regalia platform to bring to shore the first four bodies retrieved from the wreck on Wednesday.
