RAMANATHAPURAM, August 3: The 22 holy `theerthams’ at the Sri Ramanathaswamy Temple here were thronged by devotees seeking a holy dip on the occasion of Adi Amavasai today. The Muniappan Temple near the Mettur Dam and the Cauvery river were scenes of similar gatherings.
