Dhaka, Oct 28: As if the Test series loss to Australia was not enough, the pull-out of injured star batsmen Saeed Anwar and Inzamam-ul-Haq has further weakened the Pakistan team as they take on West Indies in the quarter-final tomorrow.

The West Indies, on the other hand, depend much on skipper Brian Lara and middle-order batsman Carl Hooper, who will also be a crucial bowler on these slow wickets, with his off-spinners.

PTI ADDS: “I am fully satisfied with the team. All my players are fit. We will play positive cricket,” Pakistani coach Javed Miandad said even as media reports here said key players Wasim Akram and Ijaz Ahmed were running high fever.
