
NEW DELHI, May 4: Delhi state claimed the best team championship title in the two-day inaugural National Open taekwondo championships which concluded at the Talkatora Indoor Stadium here today. Haryana and Uttar Pradesh finished second and third, respectively.
Densi Rana of the host state emerged as the youngest national champion. Meanwhile, more than 130 players will be seen in action in the North India taekwondo championship schduled to be held here on May 6 and 7.
The Delhi Taekwondo Union will conduct the Delhi Open Martial Art Demonstration Championship at the I G Stadium (boxing hall) on may 6 and 7. Registration will begin on May 6 at the venue.
