NEW DELHI, May 12: On a day of upsets, fifth seed Tushar Lebrehan from Chandiharh overcame a first set deficit and camefrom behind to edge out top seed D. Rohit Raju of Delhi in the boys under-14 quarter-finals of the Adidas Junior Circuit tennis tournament.

In the boys under -16 quarters, fifth seed Dhrub Kumar (Bangalore) humbled third seed Delhi boy Nipun Gupta, sixth seed Vivek Bakuni of Delhi beat fourth seed Chatwinder Singh of Chandigarh.

In the girls under-16 section, the top four seeds sailed through to the semi-finals. However, in the under-14 category, fifth seed Naina Karsolia from UP beat fourth seed Anuja Parikh of Maharashtra.

In the fifth arrest in connection with singer Zubeen Garg’s death, his cousin and Assam Police Service officer Sandipan Garg, who had accompanied him on the trip to Singapore, was arrested by the Assam police on Wednesday. Sandipan Garg, who is Deputy SP (Law and Order) at Kamrup with the Assam police, was arrested when he reported to the CID office in Guwahati.
