Date for SGPC chief’s appearance to be decided soon — Jathedar

The letter had stated that she would appear before the Akal Takht only if the orders come from the panj piaras consisting of the heads of all the takhts.

Addressing a press conference here today, the jathedar disclosedthat the jathedars of takht Patna sahib and takht hazoor sahib in nanded (Maharashtra) which fall outside the perview of the sgpc had been contacted.

”They have given their consent. They will come either onthemselves or will send their respective representatives for the proposed meeting of the ‘panj payaras’,” he said and added that the date of this meeting would be decided soon.
