India8217;s impeccable UN peacekeeping record is in danger of being blotted. The Indian contingent posted at the Congo mission has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. While earlier there were accusations of the Indian blue berets exchanging food for gold with Rwandan rebels the matter is still under investigation, a two-star general posted in the country is now giving South Block the jitters. His hectic socialising apart, complaints have started coming in about troops being overstretched and UN rules about deployment and safety precautions being flouted.
