To a question, he said, ‘‘the RBA operation is unexpected.’’He said he was captured from the sixth mile area on the northern side of Samdrup Jongkhar when his securitymen had moved away from him for sometime. ‘‘I don’t know what happened to the securitymen,’’ he said.Several women cadre, including wives of some top leaders, and children were subjected to torture during the Army operations in Bhutan, he alleged.Asked about the possibility of talks, Daimary — ULFA publicity secretary — said, ‘‘I don’t know. Time alone will tell.’’ He further said there are 600 to 700 ULFA militants in Bhutan with six to seven camps in Samdrup Jongkhar district. Daimary, whose family had been killed by ‘‘secret killers’’, said he had been in Bhutan for the last three years.
