LONDON, JAN 17: If your sex life isn’T all youwant it to be or if you’re looking for a long-distance relationship, an inventor in Australia may have just the thing — virtual reality sex.

Dominic Choy of Cammeray in New South Wales has applied fora patent to replace the real thing with life-like online robots, according to New Scientist magazine.

"Servo motors move its limbs and other body parts inresponse to signals from both the Internet and from touch and sound sensors on its body," according to the magazine.

Cyber sex would allow people wearing virtual reality visorsat opposite ends of the globe who have matching robots to see and hear each other on their Internet connection.

Choy said the online lovers could also program the system sothat one partner could resemble the other’s favourite celebrity.
