MUMBAI, DEC 18: The special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court on Friday remanded customs officer P N Murlidharan Pillai to police custody till December 21.Pillai, an officer of Mumbai customs, was returning after completing his deputation at Thiruvananthapuram airport on Thursday, when he was arrested by the CBI, Mumbai, outside the Sahar airport.According to the CBI, while Pillai was carrying foreign currency equivalent to Rs 9.09 lakh, and Rs 79,270 in Indian currency when he arrived in Mumbai, a search of his house yielded Rs four lakh in cash, and 155 bottles of foreign liquor, besides a Llama pistol, and ten guineas of gold.
