The Central Reserve Police Force deployed in Nandigram on Friday said that it would not spare anyone trying to create trouble and ensure that peace and normalcy returned in the troubled area."We have been given a responsibility and a mandate to restore normalcy in Nandigram badly affected by political strife and violence. We would ensure that normalcy returns to the area and there is no fear among the people", N R Das, additional Director General of CRPF, said in Nandigram.Das, who visited different interior areas of Nandigram that had witnessed violence, said: "CRPF is a neutral force and we will work accordingly".He said that 600 personnel of the central force including a company comprising about a 100 women, were deployed in Nandigram and "we will succeed in our task".CRPF DIG Alok Raj had said a day earlier that they set up five camps at Nandigram College, Gokulnagar, Garchakraberia, Khejuri and Khodambari.The central forces had fished out explosives, ammunition, unfinished country-made guns and Maoist literature dumped in a pond at Sonachura on Thursday.
