Bid to rape sleeping woman
A construction labourer Kantilal Himmatlal Solanki, who resides in an under-construction building in Umi Society, Ajitnagar, has alleged that another labourer Raju alias Vicco Chatarsinh living in Yogi Sagar Apartment of the same area, made a bid to outrage the modesty of his wife while she was sleeping on Sunday night. According to him, the accused ran away leaving behind his cycle and clothes when she raised an alarm. The J P Road police have registered a case.

Farm destroyed
Hiraben Budhabhai Vardhabhai Solanki, a resident of Solankiwas Falia in Dashrath village, has alleged that Rambhai Madhabhai Padhiyar of the same village, forcibly entered her spinach farm last night and caused heavy damage to the vegetable crop. The Chhani police have registered a case.

Assault case
The Makarpura police have registered a case against Jethabhai Bharwad, Valabhai Bharwad and an unknown person for their alleged involvement in the assault on the life of a ST bus conductor Aziz Mohammed Wali Mohammed Patel on Sunday. According to police, the road near the Makarpura police station was blocked by cows belonging to the accused and the driver got down from the bus to remove the cattle from the road.
