IMFL worth Rs 45,000 seizedThree hundred bottles of Indian made foreign liquor (IMFL) worth Rs 45,000 was seized and two persons were arrested by the Fatehgunj police from Nava Yard Road on Sunday morning. The police also seized the autorickshaw (GJ-6-V-68) used for transporting the liquor. The persons arrested are Ram Kishan Ram Kumar Saroj and Poonam alias Radha Kishan Chauhan, both residents of Nava Yard, the police said.Man arrestedMukesh Maganlal Jaiswal, a tea-stall operator in Sayajigunj, was nabbed by the police on the charge of threatening the Mahaveer Ice Cream parlour staff in Sayajigunj for not offering him ice cream free of charge on Sunday. According to the police, the vendor went to the parlour at 3 p.m. with a sword in his hands and demanded free of cost ice cream and issued threats to the staff there when denied the same. Investigations are on.
