IT raid in nursing home
Undisclosed income to the tune of Rs 1 crore was detected upon an income tax raid on an East Delhi nursing home. Documents showing `suppression of professional receipts and undisclosed investments’ were also recovered. The owner of the nursing home has reportedly admitted having a concealed income of Rs 1 crore and has agreed to pay tax on it.

Excise official held for graft
The CBI has arrested Superintendent of Central Excise, Surat, for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 25,000 from a businessman. A trap was laid by the CBI and the accused was caught red-handed. The CBI also seized Rs 5 lakh during a search at the residence of the accused.

1 dead in accident
One person was killed and seven injured when a tempo overturned on the Dabri-Palam road on Tuesday night. The incident occurred around 9 p.m..
